The Galaxy Watch has been released a couple of days ago – which we may all know by now. But what you may not know is that the watch is already getting its first software update or firmware update as some people call it.
This is a relatively a minor update, as it is only 33MB in size, but you know we love updates. The software version has now been updated to R800XXU1BRH3. The update itself didn’t bring many new features to the smartwatch but the changelog says that this update was to improve the device stability and also bring an improved Samsung Health experience.
Now, Samsung announced the release of Samsung Health version 6.0. It is a major update unlike the previous one. It’s receiving new features, a new interface and you will be able to customise the app more than before. People who have bought the Galaxy Watch will be able to download this update when it goes live in their region. It’s only time before it becomes live worldwide.
Manually update Galaxy Watch software
You should get a notification that an update is available, but you can also check manually by launching Galaxy Wearable App -> About watch -> Update watch software -> Update now.
