Sneak Peek at the Galaxy Watch 3 LIVE Images!

Many regulatory agencies have given us little pieces of information about the Galaxy Watch 3, Samsung’s latest smartwatch. This includes the US’ FCC, Thailand’s NBTC and others. Now thanks to South Korea’s regulatory agency, we get to see a live image of the smartwatch.

In the FCC certification document, the model numbers were revealed. This is the SM-R845 and SM-R855 for LTE variants. The model numbers SM-R840 and SM-R850 are for the Wi-Fi Only variants.

The Galaxy Watch 3 will come in two sizes – 41mm and 45mm. They will have a 1.2-inch and a 1.4-inch screen respectively. The dimensions of the 41mm variant are 45 x 46.2 x 11.1 mm and the 45mm variant has 41 x 42.5 x 11.3 mm. When it comes to resistance, the smartwatch has a MIL-STD-810G military standard and an IP68 dust and water resistance. This means you can easily go for a swim and don’t have to worry about dropping the device (too much). The smaller variant (41mm) will have a 247mAh battery whereas the larger (45mm) variant will have a 340mAh battery.

The smartwatch is going to come in aluminium, stainless steel and titanium. The titanium variants will most likely be more pricey than the other two variants. With the Galaxy Watch 3, there will be 1GB of RAM and a 8GB of internal storage.

There are some health-monitoring features. There is a heart rate monitor (as many smartwatches in the market have) as well as blood pressure monitoring. An ECG feature is supported but whether it is available globally at launch is dependant on the Galaxy Watch Active2.

The Live Galaxy Watch 3 Images

South Korea’s NRRA certification authority had shown live images of the latest smartwatch. The smartwatch does have a physically rotating bezel like it’s predecessor – the Galaxy Watch.

In the images, the bezel looks smaller than the Galaxy Watch’s bezel. As the bezel is smaller, Samsung has managed to pack a larger screen into smaller cases. On the right side, there are two small buttons – like the earlier Galaxy watches. However, there is a change in their shape compared to their predecessors.
