The Galaxy Watch 3, Samsung’s latest smartwatch, has had many leaks. One of which was a 360-degree GIF showing off the device. However, now there are real-time images of the smartwatch rather than just a render.
Taiwan’s NCC (National Communications Commission) has certified images of the smartwatch and the charger that it’ll come in. The smartwatch will support 5W wireless charging. In the following images, we can see that the Galaxy Watch 3 has a leather band – giving more of a classic look.
What we already know about the Galaxy Watch 3
According to a Twitter leak by @evleaks, the Galaxy Watch 3 will come in 9 different variants. These variants will come in the two sizes 41mm and 45mm. The price range for the Samsung smartwatch is expected to be around $400-$600. The high price is due to the fact that the smartwatch will come in titanium as well as stainless steel. Something exciting is that the smartwatch will come with Tizen OS 5.5 out of the box. Connectivity-wise, the Galaxy Watch 3 will have Bluetooth 5.0 as well as Wi-Fi only variants or Wi-Fi + Bluetooth. The smartwatch will also have GPS.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 will have a Super AMOLED screen which will be 1.2-inches for the smaller variant and 1.4-inch for the 45mm. In terms of storage, users get 1GB of RAM and 8GB of memory.
The official launch date has not been set yet, however, we expect it to launch sometime this month – before the August 5th event.
