FanDuel has been in the headlines with a potential partnership with Kalshi, banning a customer for bad behavior, and increasing features to tackle problem gambling, but this latest bit of news from the company comes from its FanDuel Casino arm, which has unveiled a vibrant new advertising platform dubbed “Calling All Thrillionaires”.
This new campaign is designed to spotlight the exhilarating gaming experiences available through its online casino, showcasing new features to entice those wanting to get a bit of gambling going.
Breaking away from traditional promotional strategies that emphasize the more run-of-the-mill special offers and bonuses, it instead highlights the unmatched excitement and entertainment provided by FanDuel Casino, especially through its new Jackpots feature.
The marketing initiative is a large one, rolling out across multiple channels, including TV, digital video, social media, retail, direct mail, radio, and even outdoor advertising. The campaign is particularly focused on FanDuel’s core gaming states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
Daniele Phillips, FanDuel Casino’s Vice President of Marketing, explained the philosophy behind the new platform: “At FanDuel Casino, we believe the real magic lies in the thrill of possibility.”
She also went on to describe “Calling All Thrillionaires” as a celebration of the excitement and anticipation that players feel when engaging with FanDuel’s Jackpot games. Phillips emphasized that the campaign embodies the brand’s commitment to delivering enjoyable, responsible, and thrilling gaming experiences.
The creative strategy was developed in collaboration with Orchard Creative. Barney Robinson, CEO of Orchard Creative, said the campaign is crafted to resonate with online casino players who thrive on anticipation and excitement.
“‘Calling All Thrillionaires’ is a clarion call to all online casino players,” Robinson stated, stressing that the campaign effectively showcases FanDuel’s unique entertainment value.
Two main advertisements anchor the campaign. The first, titled “Mechanical Bulls,” began airing on June 23, while the second spot, “Haunted Home,” is set to debut in September.
FanDuel Casino expects this bold, anticipation-centered campaign to differentiate it further in the competitive online casino marketplace but only time will tell if it has the legs to really make an impact.
