What’s interesting about the announcement Partner Program by Tizen Tizen Association in Korea 2013 Developer Summit (TDSK13) last week was co-joining of components manufacturer and provider of advanced technology solutions and innovation for mobile devices, as well as software companies, content providers, hardware and device manufacturers, operators and ISV. They are members of the community Tizen Association Working Group to jointly contribute technology and innovation at their disposal for the development and progress of the Tizen operating system (OS) and leading mobile ecosystem.
One of 36 companies that make up the Partner Program of Tizen Association is CrucialTec. It’s a leading provider of mobile input devices like their Optical Track Pad (OTP), the largest in the world. CrucialTec is headquartered in Suwon, South Korea and supplied its products and services to manufacturers such as Research In Motion (BlackBerry), Samsung, and many others. CrucialTec also a supplier for Smart TV devices and digital cameras for companies like HP, Sharp, Kyocera and Acer.

In addition to putting OTP solutions and BTP to Tizen devices, CrucialTech also hopes to offer of technologies MS (Matrix Switching)-Touch Solution Tizen smartphone that could have a wider screen and clearer touch experience by minimizing the bezel (edge of screen) through the control IC unique with lower costs.
“More recently we have been selected as members of Tizen Association Working Group, making it possible to expand the scope of our activities to the global market,” said one of the officials of CrucialTec. “In the future we will not only be able to develop the smartphone market, but also in other sectors of the consumer electronics products.”
In addition to mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets, have also entered CrucialTec Smart TV industry by launching Aero Mouse solution in September yesterday. Aero mouse is a smart remote control with a lot of usability by integrating various types of interfaces for a single device that is widely used for Smart TV and Set-top box, making it comfortable to use for web browsing, playing games and shopping online. Aero mouse is currently used by the smart TV product from Haier.
