WiFi company Cirrent, is all set to join hands with Samsung’s ARTIK platform and announced that the company will be bringing in its experience enhanced Wi-Fi configuration, connectivity and security solutions to IoT products. Cirrent’s Widely popular Zipkey technology will likely be integrated into the ARTIK hardware very soon enabling for automatic connection to a WiFi access point without the need of human intervention.
An uninterrupted and reliable network connection is very essential for IoT devices. Cirrent’s Zipkey will likely bring that level of a robust connectivity for ARTIK based IoT devices and cloud services. Cirrent also has a number of Industry and ISP partners whose products and services work with Zipkey technology. The ARTIK platform will benefit from these partnerships as there will be a lot more target devices or services to develop IoT solutions for.
