Apple has claimed that in 2022 they will create a new Mac Pro, featuring an Apple Silicon chip with up to 40 processing cores and 128 graphics cores.
Graphics are said to be made with the company’s cores, made exclusively by them. Currently, the last Mac Pro featured graphics made by AMD themselves. Intel’s versions have 28 cores max, and Bloomberg said that Apple has apparently been working on this project for months.

The chips will be codenamed Jade 2C-Die and Jade 4C-Die, and the chips will come out with 20 or 40 computing core versions, 4 or 8 high-efficiency cores, and 16 or 32-high efficiency cores.
As for graphics, Jade 2C-Die and Jade 4C-Die will be available in either 64 or 128-core options.
Other Apple Devices
The company is also said to be working on other Macbook’s, such as a new Mac Mini, and a new iMac, and even a new 14-inch. and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with the silicon chips soon this same summer.
The news came that the company was working on something new in November 2020, and in early February, leaker Jon Prosser shared renders about what he had heard and leaked images.
Judging by the sound of these details, the new product may even be capable of gaming at a steady 60 fps, as this is Apple’s second shot at making a new processor.
The company is said to leave AMD, and make its own components now.
