Samsung’s Next Smartwatch Gear S3 to be Codenamed Solis, Runs Tizen

 
The Gear S2 has served as a fantastic Tizen flagship smartwatch, but now its time for the next iteration in its evolution, and according to a recent report it’s codenamed Solis. We expect this next device to run Tizen, hence the reason we are reporting it, and it will also support a circular display.
Samsung has also been working on an updated user interface for the Gear S3, but there is no Information at present if this will become available for the Gear S2. The model numbers for Solis will be SM-R760, SM-R765, SM-R770, SM-R765V, and SM-R765S
The only thing that has been confirmed to Tizen Experts is that the S3 will support a larger display than the S2, something that users have requested. We will bring you more news as we get it.
