The Tekken World tour aims to celebrate the release of Tekken 7 on all major gaming platforms- PlayStation 4, XBox One and Steam. The world tour began in January this year in Thailand hosted by Twitch and Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. a Japanese game publisher. Since then, the tournament has been taking stops at several countries for the Elite Tekken Players to compete for some attractive prizes. The world tour will go on until November across 3 regions: America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Samsung sponsored the event in South Korea as a potential opportunity to showcase their best display solutions to gamers who would be part of the event.
