Lookout the makers of the popular security and antivirus application for Android and iOS, are now working with Samsung to reach Enterprises and bBusinesses.
Malware is a real security risk in the Android Ecosystem and this threat now encroaches on businesses as they implement the “Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) system” that employees favour. This creates a security hole that Lookout wants to fill.
Lookout for Business is promising to protect mobile devices and networks from threats as well as ensure the safety of corporate devices and the sensitive data they may contain. Lookout is also partnering with Samsung to get included in the KNOX platform, Samsung’s end-to-end security solution aimed for devices not only in businesses but also in government offices as well.
Lookout will now come pre-installed in every Samsung KNOX device and potentially future Tizen Devices. The Lookout for Business solution should be available later this year.
