Top 20 Apps for Business: Have You Heard of These Services?

GetApp.com has prepared a top 20 list of business applications from cloud computing and SaaS providers. It’s a list that you would expect to see represented by companies such as Salesforce.com.

But the list is something else entirely. All of the companies on the list are sold in the GetApp.com marketplace. It’s intended to promote the apps on GetApp.com.

GetApp.com is a business software app store for people who buy enterprise applications. They have a particular focus on cloud and SaaS services.

For our purposes, it’s worth taking a quick look to see what kinds of companies are represented on the list. There are thousands of apps out there. The list gives some insight into what people are using.

They say the top 20 ranking is based on an algorithm that incorporates listing popularity on GetApp.com; the number of reviews and comments; social media presence such as Twitter and Facebook followers; volume and quality of integration points and input from analyst reports.
