And Matt Galligan of SimpleGeo discusses the issue of dominance in the API space by companies such as Google and Facebook.
What’s apparent is the need to develop ways that APIs do not become a weapon of control. APIs can create a loosely coupled ecosystem but the terms that providers enforce is increasingly becoming a source of friction.
