Today, Temple Run 2, which is one of the most user requested games, has finally arrived on the Tizen Store. This is an endless runner type of game that is developed by Imangi Studios. Temple Run 2 was first released on iOS and then was brought to Android, Windows, BlackBerry, and now to Tizen devices.

When you first start the game you can select your character from a choice of 8 preset runners, but only two come already unlocked, with the rest requiring coin payments which you might have collected or from in app purchases. You then get Introduced to the controls and learn how to navigate your way around using swipe gestures and also tilting the mobile phone as required.

One Important thing to note about this game is that it is has been developed Natively and therefore does not use the Android Compatibility Layer (
ACL) that is developed by OpenMobile. Samsung prefer game and app developers to port across their software titles opposed to using the ACL solution for performance and battery reasons.

The game play is really smooth and the graphics are as good as you’ve previously seen on other mobile platforms. Available now in the Tizen store and is a 44MB download with some game content being downloaded after first launch. It is compatible with the Samsung Z1, Z2, Z3 smartphones.
