One of the leading providers of source code management tools, AccuRev, has announced today version 5.2 of their Enterprise Edition. Regardless of the version number, if you are in the SCM market or looking to upgrade, this might merit a closer look.
They will demo the product at the Agile 2011 conference in two weeks in Salt Lake City.
The version includes several new features. Most notably, it has an embedded PostgreSQL database to help manage geographically distant coding teams, enable agile code development and automate workflows.
Speaking of workflows, the company also announced version 2.0 of its AccuWorkflow tool and updates to AccuSync, plug-ins for Eclipse and Visual Studio. The tools simplify the user interfaces. All of these products are available now, and pricing for the SCM Enterprise Edition is $1495 for an end-user perpetual license.
